TIA DigitalEngineering is developed based on the definition of “Digital Engineering” which is aimed to provide the creation of the Digital Thread for the use of digital tools and representations for design, evaluation, and life cycle management.
In this way, TIA Digital Engineering is aimed as a toolset to provide the conception, design, and development of complex systems by covering MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) methods, computational/analytical/physics-based models, 3D engineering and/or digital twins depending on the needs of the application. As MBSE is a subset of digital engineering, TIA Digital Engineering supports the systems engineering activities of requirements, architecture, design, verification, and validation by integrating leading SysML Tools, simulation/modelling tools like MATLAB and digital twin technologies. In this way, system requirements can be matched with the system behavior created by the digital twin structure of the target system for performance and requirements verification and trade-off study.
TIA STORAGE enables the users to store data received from components such as sensors, PLCs, actuators, devices, MES, or machines. Compatible with automation technologies, it can be easily integrated with all kinds of equipment and data sources thanks to its modular structure.
TIA MODEL enables the creation and presentation of realistic models of abstract (process, relationship, function, etc.) and tangible (machine, product, vehicle, etc.) systems.
TIA DASHBOARD is a data visualization module developed with the involvement of real users. The module integrates directly with other modules in the TIA PLATFORM, enabling easy and understandable visualization of data and the use of modules.
