
TIA CNCHealth performs real-time status monitoring, production performance tracking, data analysis, and anomaly detection by providing real-time data from production parameters and CNC control units.
Control unit communication libraries developed by TIA Platform are used to communicate with CNC machines. With TIA CNCHealth, CNC machine performance and production efficiency are monitored, parameters are optimized, cutting tools are tracked, and recommendations to improve production performance are provided.
TIA CNCHealth integrates with all modern CNC machines and operates independently of machine licenses. Modern machines can be connected without external hardware requirements, and new machines can be automatically added via the network. The system is scalable according to needs and can be rapidly deployed with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises installation options.
The system calculates overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) in real-time by measuring usability, performance, and quality metrics. It analyzes productivity through cutting time optimization and idle operation detection. It calculates overall operational effectiveness (OOE) by differentiating between planned and unplanned downtimes and determines maximum capacity utilization with total effective equipment performance (TEEP) measurement. It identifies production bottlenecks and delivers automatic reporting for efficiency metrics.
TIA CNCHealth is compatible with all CNC controller types, providing real-time machine status monitoring, cycle time tracking, production counting, axis position tracking, spindle load and speed analysis. Production management is centralized on a single platform, and machine performance metrics are continuously monitored. The system sends automatic notifications via email and messaging platforms, tracks production with CAM programs, and automatically classifies machine downtime causes.
With cutting tool life tracking, tool lifecycle tracking, and tool magazine management features, TIA CNCHealth reports the performance of cutting tools. The integrated chatbot automatically classifies machine downtime causes, facilitates operator machine interaction through natural language, and provides maintenance information for CNC machines. The system supports table data querying with large language model (LLM) and automatic report generation from production data.
The quality control module of TIA CNCHealth comprehensively tracks production processes' compliance with quality standards. Quality control history is recorded in full, and measurement data can be entered digitally. Operators and production managers are immediately notified when out-of-tolerance values are detected. The quality control tracking system includes first piece, intermediate control, and final approval processes, ensuring quality assurance throughout production. Traceability is achieved through quality processes fully integrated with production work orders.
